Why We Do What We Do

It is really easy to forget why we do what we do as youth workers.  We do small groups to build relationships, we prepare creative talks to inspire students to love, learn and live the word, we plan crazy events so students who are far from church can connect and we put in hours and hours and hours to show Christ's love to the students he puts in our lives.  Unfortunately the planning, the events, the preparation and the investment can become disconnected from the goal.

This video reminds me why I do what I do. I hope it encourages you too!

Justin Reimer is the youth pastor at Christian Life Assembly in Langley, BC and every year they bring students to Revolution Camp. The Video was produced by Sam Cantelon.

What an incredible work we have been invited to! God lets us be part of his great mission, to rescue people from death.

"So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up"  Galatians 6:9

Jason is the director of campusfire, a ministry partnering with local churches to empower high school students to reach their schools. Jason graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2010. He has been married to his best friend, Rachael, for two and a half years, and their mission in life is simple: to see students live out their faith in the midst of culture, and to encourage them to lead their friends to Jesus.
